Why we started

Free and low-cost resources exist all across Silicon Valley, but the information about them is scattered, outdated, or hard to find. We built PODO so no one has to make a trip for nothing. The name comes from the Korean word for grape — podo — because like a cluster of grapes, our community is made up of many people coming together to support one another.

How we keep information accurate

Places change their hours, and lists go out of date. So we show you where each listing stands: ✅ Confirmed or 🕓 Not yet confirmed, with the date it was last checked — never a guess dressed up as a fact.

We work with local organizations and volunteers across Silicon Valley to keep this current, and we're confirming more places all the time. If something looks wrong, tell us and we'll look into it.

Your privacy

You don't need an account to use PODO. We don't store your exact location — it's used only to find nearby places. Reports you send us are anonymous. If you list a place, we ask for a way to reach you so we can verify it — that contact information is never shown publicly.
